Hey all,
I have a doubt on how will IRCC count the part-time hours. I have started a part time job and wondering that does IRCC count the 20 hours/week... from Saturday or Sunday or Monday?

Any information will be appreciated!

Thanks

IRCC usually has no way of directly checking the number of hours you are/were working. To check they consult with the CRA which takes time both for IRCC and you. So considering that it takes time to check with CRA's database and because of the pandemic, they do it on a random and case-to-case basis.
To sum it up, in case they find some irregularities when assessing your application and depending on the IRCC officer, they might or may not check.

Thanks for the reply. But usually what would be the right thing that I should consider? On the Walmart portal the week says "Saturday to Friday". I believe the paystub might consider the same.
However, I believe that they should consider starting from Sunday.
Can you or anyone else please guide me? So that I can plan the shifts accordingly..
Thanks for the insight

In your case, legally you should work for maximum 20 hrs: Sat - Fri as per your payslip.
