SLU (We started processing your application) is very specific and varies by officer.

For example MDY is issuing SLU approx. 60days prior to PPR while AS is issuing SLU only 21days prior to PPR. What does it mean? It means for example if your IO is MDY and you received SLU in your ECAS approx. 60days ago this means your chance to get PPR email soon is very high.

There are extremes in data which I counted because it is a part of process. Therefore, treat this data as guidance which based on average.

I'm aware of those. My officer is CT and till not I'm OK based on those statistics,,

However, those statis is the average of old and new applications,, I can see recently CT is giving PPR for applicant with SLU in July

I'm worried cus I got SLU in June!!

Hello All,

I got SLU on 22-June and Medical on 22-April,,

I saw many who have similar timeline in the Iranian sheet got PPR already,,

I have exactly the same timeline, I received MR on 22 april , Medical received on MAy 1st , SLU updated on June 22 ,
my Officer is also CT .
I am seeing PPR request for people with MR in July , However I believe that every file processing is unique and have it's own circumstances.
I hope to receive PPR by this Friday Incha ALLAH for all of us .

by the way, I am trying to think positively , anyone who received PPR and got the visa stamped already can share the experience of sending passport to Paris VO ?
I am currently living in Kuwait ,if I will send to Paris , how long it will take to stamp the visa and get the passport back ?
is it possible to ask to get it stamped in Canadian embassy in Kuwait or any other VO (abudhabi for example ) , and is it really better , or you advise to
send to Paris ?

Babak hi,

I doubt your current circumstances may affect processing of your application. AS is putting "We started processing your application" update in ECAS only after docs return from Security Check. As you know security check is final stage of background check. Therefore, all background verification are already done for sure.

You should receive your PPR within max 3weeks time from the time of SLU.

I am well familiar about AS because he is my IO either.

My application is received on October 2nd
Medical done april 23 , medical received on ecas appeared on may 1st ( no second line yet at that time )
Second line update ( we started processing your file on june 22 ) appeared on june 24 or 25 .
