If your address is changed (to Canada), you should immediately inform the visa office. It is likely that once their decision on your application is made, they forward your file to CPC-Ottawa where your PPR is issued.

SLU (We started processing your application) is very specific and varies by officer.

For example MDY is issuing SLU approx. 60days prior to PPR while AS is issuing SLU only 21days prior to PPR. What does it mean? It means for example if your IO is MDY and you received SLU in your ECAS approx. 60days ago this means your chance to get PPR email soon is very high.

There are extremes in data which I counted because it is a part of process. Therefore, treat this data as guidance which based on average.

I revised it slightly

PER to MR SLU to PPR MR to PPR Total Ave
CT 89 39 72 282
DL 44 18 78 216
FG 75 11 80 270
MDY 57 60 92 235
MF 42 14 102 242
CC 23 36 119 258
AS/AWV 47 21 125 282
MLP 45 53 129 291
Very interesting statistics and useful analysis.
My IO is AS and I haven't received my SLU yet. This means that it's still a long time to PPR. In addition AS is among the slowest. Sorry to hear that. Ha ha!

Hi all,

I just got my COPR, from the Paris VO! :)))

Timeline:
- Application received: August 20, 2014.
- "Elegible to be processed" received: December 10, 2014.
- Medicals and payment requested: January 14, 2015.
- Medicals, payment and job update sent on February 5, 2015.
- "Started processing your application" diplayed on ECAS site as "on May 29, 2015".
- "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." displayed on ECAS site on June 2, 2015.
- COPR: July 1, 2015 (on the letter I can see that the COPR was actually issued on May 29, 2015, so according to that the delay was just internal processing time after the decision was made.
- In my case there is no need for Passport Request since I don't need a visa to enter Canada. So passport and COPR are enough.

My plan is to land between October and January (COPR expiry date: late January). Now I need to process a lot of information about how to prepare for landing, look for a job, how to send my personal belongings, and stuff like that.

There might be several seasons causing this. But it looks like a technical issue with the e-mail.
Make sure you enter the Paris VO e-mail addresss correctly.
There are 2 e-mail IDs for Paris VO; paris-immigration@international.gc.ca and PARISIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca, send to both of them.
Make sure your attachments are not oversized (there might be incoming e-mail quota), if they are, try to reduce the file size or send the files in seperate e-mails.
If your e-mail delivery is successful, you will recieve delivery confirmation from both addresses.
If you want to be on safe side, you can send the same by courier with a cover letter which explains also that you were not able to send by e-mail.

Friends,

I have noticed increasing number of PPR per day given by Paris VO. Only yesterday they gave 7 PPRs in Iranian spreadsheet. Real number maybe much higher as not everybody is in that spreadsheet.

It has 2 signs in my understanding, either majority of them are going to vacation and they are trying to close max they can prior to that OR they have been given tough deadline to close FSW2014 by the end of summer.

Share your ideas....

Hi dear red folks thanks for your reply i appreciate it a lot really..

Yes the problem is with the size alrhough i resized them and made them smaller but i have to send fourteen documents.. So they are still too big..

Just one more question, are you sure i can send two emails? What if the officer does not see the second email.. They might think i have not sent all the documents they asked for..

You may mention in your e-mail that you would send all documents partially due to the e-file sizes.

I would suggest:
- prepare a master e-mail with a cover letter including the list of all documents to be sent, also mentioning to be sent partially
- prepare other e-mails at the same time by checking the file sizes and ensuring you will be able to send each e-mail
- in your master e-mail, indicate each file in which e-mail (in Part-1, in Part-2, etc)
- Title your e-mails Part-1, Part-2, etc (do not forget including your Application number (starting with E....) in the title of each e-mail)

Again, you will recieve confirmation of delivery for each e-mail you would send.

And again, if you want to be on safe side, you can send all documents by courier with a cover letter, you will be able to track the delivery by courier as well.

14 documents or 14 pages? 14 pages can be sent in one mail. maybe your scanner is set for over-resolution (much more than needed) for a document copy. try to scan with less resolution. scan black&white if the document is so. if none of these works follow the above suggestions.
