Paris Office Timeline

I hope ours will be processed swiftly by Paris too. But first it has to get out of that black hole called Mississauga. Will keep an eye on this thread.

Quick question, did the ecas show in-process which would have changed from application received 2 months the AOR2 from Paris.

On January 10th, I got AOR from Paris. Ecas show Application received under: Permanent Residence Application Status. When I click, it says meds received. I am assuming it is still not "in-process" and they won't get to it in 2 months and probably expect passport request in April.

Anyways, congrats again, happy for you.

Our ecas said application received forever! It was received September 17th and did not change to "in process" until December 20th. Our medicals were not listed so we emailed and we had to send them the information from the medical visit for them to add that after application received. I don't know if it is really two months or if that was just us.

The funniest part was that our status to "decision made" was only done today and my husband got his visa in his passport yesterday. Apparently they are a little late in updating ecas.
 
I applied in September to VO Paris Outland BUT they held it in Mississauga for some reason! I spoke to them recently and they wouldnt say why but they did tell me my processing was almost complete...
 
Does anyone know if Paris sends its own AOR once a file is transferred from Mississauga? Just trying to find out what to expect.

Right! So we sent in Package #2 this week, and have postal confirmation of receipt. Now, the waiting game.

I'm sponsoring my fiance after we get married at the beginning of April. She's living here with me(Canada) right now. And we intend to live here throughout the application process. In the OUTLAND application, should we put our Canadian address as her current address, or her old address from France? Also, it looks like people have been getting PR within 6 months of sending in their application, is this about right?

Since she intends to live with you in Canada during the whole process and also for the reason that she is currently in Canada, I will suggest to put Canadian Address as her Current Address.

Processing time for Paris office is about 8 months after Sponsorship Approval. It can be shorter or longer depending on each case.

Hoping that you get Sponsorship approval within 90 days (current processing time for SA of Outland Application), it is possible that the PR application is finalized within 6 months.

Hi guys,

we received an email saying our visa is ready to be issued.

We are very happy. This is for tunisia. My wife is abroad and we cannot send the passport for a third party to submit and pi k up the visa as tunisian law forbids sending passport by mail.

I guess she would have to go home asap to pick it up.!
 
Hi everyone. I am from Spain and today my sponsor (spouse) got the AOR. I live in Spain, but I am currently visiting my spouse in Toronto. Our timeline is as follows:

App. submitted: Nov 23th, 2014
App. received: Nov 25th, 2014
AOR: Feb 18th, 2015 (83 days)

So, the mail just says our UCI number and the App. number and that the application was received. It also says that my app status could be checked online, but it does not seem to work properly as an error appeared every time we entered the info required. Is there anyone facing the same problem???? Maybe I am not doing right...another question: does this AOR received today mean that the sponsorship is already approved? All comments are welcome. THANKS for sharing your experiences in this forum. They are extremely helpful!!!
 
No. It just means they are working on your application and the next step would be sponsorship approval.
 
ZENGA, how long does having the Sponsorship Approval take from now on??? When will we be able to see it online???
