Yes, it's working for me too - and I see that my online info has been updated to show the Inland now as 'withdrawn'. So they ARE working on it!

So, Why is my ECAS not working???? I was able to enter last week… :(

RYIT, what about you???? Can you enter into your ECAS and check your status?????

Maybe... just maybe... they're actually working on it as we speak - transferring info etc. So maybe you're close to getting news!!

(Or maybe that's just me, the eternal optimist.)

YES let's be optimistic!!! Good luck Spain!!! :D

Optimistic!? I try but no news since Feb 27th when the application was transfered to Paris asking for the medical (medical sent on Mars 11th). My Ecas never changed, AOR2 never received... :'(

THANK YOU GUYS!!!! :(

I thought receiving AOR2 is a case to case basis? Sometimes applicants just receive in process directly.

ECAS is now working!!!! :) Still IN PROCESS…Hope to get good news soon!!!

Au revoir, Paris - just got my SA!! And it looks like they're keeping our application in Mississauga: "If at any time during processing, it is determined that local knowledge is required, the file may be forwarded to the relevant visa office for processing and final decision."

Let's hope that Mississauga means faster processing!

oooh, I'm so excited!!!

hello everyone,

Just wanted to share good news and add our info to the timeline to help future applicants:

Family sponsorship (Common law spouse)
Application Filed: Dec. 8, 2014
AOR: Feb. 27, 2015
SA: March 1, 2015
File transfered to Paris VO: March 1, 2015
Meds done Upfront
COPR: received by mail April 14, 2015

So, total time for Sponsor Approval = 84 days
Total time for Paris Office to process our file and issue a COPR= 45 days

I did not recieve any communication at all from the Paris VO, just the COPR papers in the mail.

Overall, it was a painfree process with nothing to do but hope for the best and let them do their thing.

I hope this gives hope to others that a quick processing is possible.

Wishing you all the best for your upcoming journey!
