I need some help, my parent's visitor visa was rejected with following reason:
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).

I had attached my dad's employment letter and ask bank account statements with about 10 lakh INR. My mom is homemaker.
Could anyone advise what I would need to correct when I apply next time ?

How long was visit? Funds not high enough for two people if that is around $15k in cash. What is that in Canadian? Also your mom has no ties to return.

Visit was for 4 weeks, I'm planning to apply again. How much bank balance would be ideal?
Also my mom's mother is in India and stays with us, I had mentioned that.

Minimum $10k CDN per person for a 2 week visit. So your grandmother lives with you or your mother. Your grandmother is not a tie to return for your mother. Family ties to return are spouse and children under 22. You could try and include doctor's notes, care plan and outline that your grandmother is unable to care for herself and needs 24/7 care but again not considered a tie to return.

What was the reason for travel and what is your status in Canada? How long have you lived in Canada? Do you have any siblings and if so where do they live? Would also request a 2-3 week visit. If you are a PR or citizen and have an NOA that is over LICO a supervisa may be a better option if you have a stronger profile than they do. Would clarify in a letter of explanation that they only planned a short visit but you felt that they had a stronger application for a supervisa versus a regular TRV.
