My father has a valid visitors visa and has travelled a few times. Recently we found out that his birth date in Indian passport is different than Birth certificate (15 days difference). The passport birthdate was wrong as it came from the school leaving certificate which was the source of the wrong birthdate. We want to update the passport with the correct birthdate. So will this void the visitors visa? Also do we inform IRCC prior to updating the passport? Will this create any issues in future?
