Parents visiting in Canada after July 5th

Hi there, I'm hoping my fully vaccinated parents can visit me (permanent resident) from the EU (only Eta required). It seems like they don't have to quarantaine according to the new rules after July 5th. Do you this it's safe to book a flight or can there be anything tricky in the process?

The new rules only apply to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

Your parents will need to quarantine.

Where do you get mixed messaging from? I get that the main narrative is that it's mostly about PRs and citizens but I didn't see anywhere relevant that would say it's only about them.

I too think Quarantine will NOT be required. Please reconfirm

Yeah, all the relevant sources say it's fine. I was just wondering if there is some fine print that I didn't see that can make it challenging.

The wizard is just to determine if someone meets the travel exemption

No separate issues. You can be exempted and still have to quarantine
