Parents Sponsorship-IMM 5768 Financial Evaluation Form-Q.8 Minimum Necessary Income?

Hello Everyone!
As per Financial Evaluation Form IMM 5768 for parents sponsorship, Q-8 asks for…"Minimum Necessary Income" and says "see instructions for details". As per instructions, it says refer to Federal Table for Parents/Grandparents sponsorship…

Can someone please explain what income (and which year) they are asking for? Is it combined three years as per Federal Table (2012, 2013, and 2014) or just 2014??
Also, then it says in next (Q9) that if your income is less than above then do not apply!
But then they are comparing 2014 income with 2012 income which for some people might not be sufficient? Am i missing something here? Shouldn't they compare "year to year" so 2012 to 2012 and so on..

Any help is appreciated!

I did found that too but which year we should enter as income changes drastically from 2012 to 2014!
I think it is for 2014 ($73,072 for 6 people) and that's what i have entered as of now!

Regarding Q.15 on same form….what you have entered as family size for last three years…is it different or same for all years?

What i have learned from here is that it supposed to be the total number of people what you would have including current applicant/s. So say you had 4 people family in 2012 but now you will have 6 people including the one you are sponsoring now, then you enter 6 people in ALL the years under family size!

anyone who has already applied can shed some insight on which amount they put down for Q8?

worst case, i'll just put down 2014, hopefully ppl working at CIC know income requirement in 2012 or 2013 is different.

Can someone please help, my line 150 from NOA qualifies to sponsor my parents, but what im not sure about is whether there is any restrictions as to what kind of income they count as income. I have rental income, capital gains, and other income in one year from a severance pay. does it matter? or line 150 is good indication ?

As far as I know, your income for all these years (2012-2015) must be above minimum income to be able to apply. They will ask for 2015 income details later on as it won't be available in Jan 2016.
