Hello,
Please provide me some clarification for this situation.
My wife is a Canadian Citizen for over 10 years. She has an income well over 100K a year. We are a family of 2 no children. She would like to sponsor her mother to come to Canada.
However here is the catch: Between 2015 and 2017 she worked on a TD visa in USA. She can prove that she had an income there of over 120 K a year. We moved back to Canada on September 2017. She resumed employment in Canada forthwith. She is currently employed here for over 1 year with an income more then double the requirement. How can she prove her income for the last 3 years? She has the taxes form from US but would they count? Can you give us an insight?
Thank you

Not even if we returned to Canada over 1 year ago and if we filled taxes in Canada as well?

Yes your 2018 income counts. You will have to look whether you made enough Canadian income in 2017 but you likely filed US taxes.
