Parents sponsorship file sent - but no acknowledgment recieved yet

Hi,
I have submitted my parents pr application in may 2018. I checked the tracking number and package has been recieved. Its been three months and i am awaiting any response or acknowledgement from cic. Can anyone tell how much usually it takes? Has anyone sponsored their parents during that timeframe and recieved any acknowledgment?
