Parents Sponsorship - DEC 2010: Got Letter for Documents Submssion

Hi...

I need a little information from you regarding Family Sponsorship Application.

I have received the the documents submission request from CIC.
Now I am wondering that why they have not asked about Police Clearance Certificates?

I have few questions:

Right now, CIC just ask for the documents which are for Parents Sponsorship (Checklist with 11 Points/Sections).
Once I will send these documents to CPC-Mississauga, what will happen after then?

My mother I already in Canada as a Visitor and I am writing CPC-Ottawa as her VISA office rather than my home country. Is it fine doing this?

Do you have any idea about the timelines of next steps?

I will greatly appreciate your kind help on this.

On second page of letter does it not suggest you get your police certificates.

Also read the guide for IMM 0008, you will see it says:

For Question 4

Indicate the name of the Immigration Office which serves:

your country of nationality, or
the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one (1) year.
Note: Do not select the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) as the immigration office requested to process your application. Although you may be required to submit your application to the CIO, you must indicate the name of an appropriate visa office using the criteria above.
