yes its needed. But you can write a cover letter including their passports which have their names on each of thems , may be ration card(if in india , any other documents which shows their ties

No, your parents' marriage certificate is not required.

Their passports showing their names as each others' spouse + your birth certificate stating their names as your parents will suffice
