Parents Grandparents Sponsorship 2020 Application /2021Invitation

Hi there, I submitted my interest to sponsor form in Nov 2020 and got Invitation in Jan 2021 to apply PR. I sent my application on Feb 17th and reached CIC on 22nd Feb. Any idea how long it will take to get confirmation/file number ? Can we link paper application online before receiving file number ?

Congratulations on your parents PR! I had submitted interest to sponsor for my parents during the same Oct-Nov 2020 program but did not receive any ITA. I have the confirmation number but do you know if there is a way to find out from that confirmation number if I ever got the ITA sent? My email address has not changed and I get all emails from IRCC but still checked SPAM too and there is nothing so most probably ours was not selected however want to know if there is a way to check this.

Hi Everyone,

Application submitted in Sept 2021, approval of sponsorship in Nov 2021, Biometric submitted 7th July 2022, Medical submitted 29th July, additional documents to confirm the proof of relationship with Aadhar card, Election card, PCC, RPRF Fees and submission of new passport copies for myself and my husband. All additional requested documents were submitted in Mid Nov and IRCC confirmed the receipt of the submitted addtnl documents. Since then no news.

My son has sponsored us and myself the mother is the principal applicant and my husband second applicant. My name mentioned in my son's BMC birth certificate is wrongly spelled and we have provided proof of relationship by submitting all three of us Aadhar / Election card etc. The address mentioned in Aadhar / Election card and Old passport of us and current passport of my son is the same having India Address. IRCC had also asked for our marriage certificate.. We have attested and registered our Church marriage certificate as per Christian Marriage act and have sent it with additional documents.

Just a doubt does the above documents sufficient to prove our relationship? All the Indian govt documents comes with father's name as the second name except for my son's passport wherein my name and my husband name is mentioned.

Please clarfiy if i have missed out anything?
