My mother in law is waiting for her ecopr. When we receive that, what is the process for obtaining ohip, sin etc? Is there anything that we can get now or we need to wait? also is there a waiting period for ohip after ecopr?

I do not know about waiting period, but you need your PR or Landing paper to apply for that. May i know when did you get your P2 email? Thank you

Once you have eCOPR, you can apply for SIN right away. For OHIP, you will need to wait 3 months before applying.

Currently no wait period for OHIP. 3 month wait period was eliminated during Covid and hasn’t returned.

If your mother is currently a visitor you should have had a plan to pay for any healthcare costs she has during her visit or limited her visit if routine healthcare was needed. Given posted processing times are close to 3 years people should plan as if that was the processing time even if in the end they receive PR earlier.

July applicant still waiting for medical and bio metrics. Any one on same boat with similar timeline?

Was asked for PCC on Feb end even though it was submitted with initial application.

I received the same email. I sent those in the email. The residential address and email was in the email body and PCC and passport as attachment. I also, requested details from IRCC web form to confirm and got the reply within 5 days that my documents were received. Here is the link for the ICC web form.

Processing between P1 and P2 is not immediate. It does appear to be better than other programs where it is often months between P1, P2 and eCOPR. Give it a few weeks

You have already receive P1/P2. P1 confirms whether you are in Canada if you declared you were in Canada. P2 is the confirmation step before receiving PPR/COPR or eCOPR.

Are PA and dependents inside Canada? If they are outside, P1, P2 and eCOPR are not the process for outland.
