All right, literally after 9 month on the dot, received today that the 5406 is incomplete for both parents and proof of relationship is requested between parents... Time for me to go through the old posts on these questions. Hopefully I won't have questions for the group, but if I have please I'd be looking forward to y'all's help!

yes exactly same i received last month and gave me 30 days to submit i have submitted all required docs

Looks like I am very close to your dates (see timelines below) but my parents biometrics is showing valid in the system. So I am assuming it's not needed. Is it fair to assume next step will be to receive Sponsor eligibility email and/or medical request? Processing center is Mississauga.

Can someone please explain what they mean? My guess was after this it’s the passport request for a PR visa but I may be completely off here.

how many emails you received for this? I got one for myself which is weird since I am already Canadian citizen, and i received one for my mother and one for my father. Do I need to just create one account under my father's name becuase he is the principle applicant and add my mother's name into it? Or do i need to create two separate Portal accounts for my parents? Thank you.

Same, my wife and I both received an email I guess because we are sponsors, but both canadians. I guess we will just respond to the one for my mother in law

My son also received Pre-arrival letter since 3 months but still not received PPR letter from IRCC applied for PGP for us but still not received PPR letter.

Preaarival letter is an administrative step and not related to processing time.

When we expect the PPR letter its almost 3 months after medical and pre-arrival letter received.

Good morning everyone, I need help linking my parents application to GCkey account. I tried a couple of different ways to link it but doesn't work. Last mail I received is under my name saying we received your application to sponsor a member of the family class and requested my parents Police Certificates. Should I try linking it or will I only be able to link it after sponsorship approval?

When we expect the PPR letter its almost 3 months after medical and pre-arrival letter received.

Impossible to say could be weeks but also could be years. They still have to do background checks and then final review. Pre-arrival letter is not tied to processing time. Posted processing time outside Quebec is still 36 months so those who are receiving PPRs are the rare cases being processed extremely quickly.
