Ok my file is in Vancouver office . Waiting for medical too. No idea how long it will take. So frustrating

Hi Guys,
I have received eligibility decision letter for my parents PR in Jan 2023, and in email they said that we are forwarding your application to vancouver office. Now it is more than one year to that eligibility email and 27 months for application submission. Any idea how long will it take? and how I can contact to vancouver office?

Application Submitted November 2021
Biometrics request and completed May 2022
Sponsor Approval June 2022
Transfer to Vancouver office
PCC Request October 2023
Pre-Arrival October 2023
Medical request and passed January 2024
When I call IRCC I get automated message update that they are conducting background check not start yet but Eligibility - passed
Anyone with the similar experience?

Interesting, the automated message only tells me that they are reviewing if eligibility requirements are met, and that they dont need interview or fingerprints.
Nothing about background check.
GCMS notes shows eligibility is passed, and background is in progress.

Hey! That happened to me. I had the exact same message but it said October 2023. Never received any letter up to February 2024. Then I receive a survey asking to "evaluate the process because I had received the final decision". What the hell.... that was a red flag because they never sent me anything requesting a passport.
Then I sent an inquiry and they simply FORGOT / DID NOT SEND the final letter. And we were waiting for FOUR months, unbelievable. I would totally recommend you get in touch with them thru the contact form/e-mail from the office if they have contacted you before asking for additional documents/phone explaining the situation
