seems they are still way behind in processing and updating

we are reviewing additional docs you provided as of january 11,2024- vancouver office

how long will it take for passport request? Will they ask again for PCC while passport request?

I sent a message to IRCC Vancouver regarding having to re-do medicals since PA is in Canada, and they responded today that they have reassessed the medicals for PA and deps and extended validity for a year.

with your timeline, starting from Medical Pass, 8 months for my application
Jan 23 2024, received email informing me that my CoPR/passport with visa stamped is on its way for delivery. Hope this helps

Some of you guys are very lucky that IRCC Vancouver is telling you some updates regarding your applications. Because whenever I sent them email they always respond but no information other then your application is assigned to an officer and we will contact you if we need anything.
