So I got a week ago a letter from IRCC requesting a medical exam (done) and police records for my parent. I have the police record for the current country my parent resides, however my parent stayed as a visitor for 8 months in another country (overstaying the allotted time) 40 years ago. We are going to the consulate in our country of origin, but just checking if some of you have been through the same and have declared this or not / or have been helped by the country other than the one the parent resides.
