Hello everyone,

I received letter of invitation from IRCC for my parents and I was looking at my Income for 2021 and 2023 Im good but for 2022 Im just short of $3000.Is that going to be a problem for meeting that requirement?
Any one had the same issue please let me know if there is any ways I can do something about it.

Also would my child benefit act as an income so I can add it ? Since that year it was more than 4000$ for the year

Then ignore the invitation and don't submit your application.

Unfortunately this means the application will be refused.

No, you cannot add child benefit. This is not classified as income.

Income of every year counts. You need to meet LICO continuously until your parents' PRs get approved.
so short of $3000 is a lot considering the LICO is already low to even realistically cover cost of family living in Canada.
So your application will be refused.
