My husband received the EI benefits due to the unemployment this year. Should he become a co-signer? My own gross incomes already meet the minimal requirements.

The fact that he recieved EI won't affect the app if you add him as a co-signer.

NO. Make sure you tell him the obligations first. If you are eligble than just sign yourself only. Just in case you and him separate later in the future he doesn't want to be obligated financially.

I'm sure he is aware of the obligations. He can remove himself as a co-signer at any point during the application.
