I just want to apply for my brother as my parents are not willing to come.will apply super visa for them..
As long as your parents are alive, you will not be able to sponsor your brother for PR.

i was checking the chart here:http://www.canadavisa.com/necessary-income-levels-for-family-sponsorship.html so its me, my wife and my mother in-law, that is 3 people right? so that = $46,354?! for 2010, 2011, and 2012?! I don't think i made that in any of the 3 years with my wife, plus she landed in 2011, so there was no income from her in 2010, does that mean we cannot apply?!! please help, we really thought we could sponsor her mother... this is so sad and disappointing :(.

Hi all,
I am confused about the question 15 of the Financial evaluation. The Gross income/ Benefits for period - do they want the sum of my income for the last three years?
Thanks.

Hi. It doesn't matter if your wife only landed in 2011. She can still sponsor her mother for PR as long as you sign on as her co-signer/co-sponsor. However since you said you don't meet any of the 2010, 2011, 2012 minimum limit, you could be waiting until 2017 assuming you meet the minimum requirement in 2013 to 2015 tax year.

There is no such thing as a co-sponsor. There is only one sponsor; the spouse can be a co-signer.

what is the phone no. of cic office
There is only one contact phone number. 1-888-242-2100. However the number is only good for calls within Canada. Outside Canada, you would have to contact your local VO office.

Yes - brothers and sisters can apply to immigrate independently through programs such as Federal Skilled Worker or Provincial Nominee (if they qualify).
