PAPER CLIPS - PLEASE HELP

We are just in the final processes of putting together our application.
We have a lot of loose evidence ie. ticket stubs, receipts and I want to
attach them to the relevent information. Is it ok to use paperclips?

I read somewhere that you must send everything loose, but I am just
worried about everything becoming disordered.

We used paper clips and alligator clips.
