Got RPRF request : December 13, 2017

PPR : Waiting

I think, it is important to track this stage together, since they only send an email for the PPR, and no updates on GCkey nor ECAS.

FYI,
IP1: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
NA: “Not applicable“
IP2: “We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.“

Could you please describe the differences between the IP1 and IP2? You also have N/A... what is that?

When you link your application to CIC account, it starts with IP1 status then they may send RPRF/Pre Arrival letter, then it changes to NA, then Medical and it changes to IP2, then PPR email sends to you within 20 days historically.
However mass applicants got this IP2 on Feb. 27th, 2018, and so far no updates, I haven't heard anyone got PPR other than outland applicants, YES, that’s right even inland applications are slower than outland.

It is the RPRF(Right of permanent residence fee), and they asked me to pay it December 13, 2017, I paid it and uploaded the receipt on same date. It took them about 3.5 months to change the status to revewing.
