Hi,

Today I received my GCMS notes, and here's what I see:

Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not started
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Not started

Notes at the end include the usual: no adverse information, PA has a valid status till XYZ, etc etc

So I think that everything goes as expected, but would like to hear back if anyone has experience on timelines from here on. The application was submitted October 14th, 2016, so almost 7 months now.
Have already paid upfront all fees, to avoid more delays.

Normal processing times are within 16 months so you still have a wait there.. Jan Applicants are still receiving their PPR requests while april and partially may applicants have received their MR request add another 2 - 4 months for security check after your medicals are done. So you are looking at either early jan or beginning of Feb next year for PPR.

Good Luck

I applied for PR in July 2016, PNP paper based application.
I understand the paper based time processing is 16 months but, I already did the medical examination in March and still no response...
Any advise is greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Hi Konkanasetty, resently the wait time got extended from 16 to 18 months. So far we are still waiting.
When I call the customer service number all they can tell me is to keep waiting, that they are working of the background checks and there is nothing we can do at this stage.
Have you called them as well?
Cheers.
