PAL and Citizenship

Has anyone acquired PAL (Possession and Acquisition License) license before getting citizenship? I'm wondering if getting PAL would delay the citizenship application or not. I'd love to hear your experience.

It wont affect your citizenship at all, unless they turn up something in the background investigation for the PAL--but you would likely know if there is anything to be found.

I know I have a clear background. I just got my RCMP clearance this week for another purpose.

You should be good. RCMP probably will call your references if this is your first PAL, so make sure they are expecting the call.
