Any of you can guide me on my questions please
1- My classes are going to start on 5 Jan, Can I go Canada 2 months before the start of classes or it will be too earlier ?

I voluntarily asked Immigration officer that although my classes are commencing from May but I land in February so I can enjoy my life to fullest before school. So he laughed and gave me some website links, Cheap travel advises, name and address of best club in Toronto and maps. He also asked me to show him the prove of funds to afford my stay for at least 6 months.[/red]
2-Can I go another city and stay there for some time before start of classes ? actually my university is in St. John's but I want to visit family in Calgary before the start of classes .
[red]Yes definitely, I suggest you to do not tell Immigration officer that you have family in Canada if you didn't mention in you study permit application CBSA officer has all the details.[/red]
3- Can Montreal be my first POE
[red]Study permit is issued at POE. Landing in Quebec could get you in trouble. If I were in your shoe I will land to my province and city of destination where my School is or any other city but not in Montreal (Quebec)
