No sign at all but I can predict they will contact us in the first 15 days of September, once the damage is done ;D. This also means you get additional opportunity to win their hearts as in most cases (if you were not refused) they will ask you to provide official letters that your offers are still valid.

Bro i sincerely wish that what you have said it true. However, i have my doubts about the whole bargain of them contacting us and asking us to furnish letters. Your program has strictly deadline join by date or you can go a little later too? Wont you have course work atleast for a year in the beginning regarding research methodology and research seminar or you can waive them? Whats this whole deal about winning hearts man :-\ ????? We just want processing done for our cases and be informed of the decision process.... Nobody is winning anybody's heart around or anybody being honorable to any body. Its purely a service based portal and all we want is timely processing. It a business proposal. Nobody is doing anybody favors!!!! Or are they?????

I don't have any course work at all, it is a pure lab based research. I know if your visas are not processed on time and it was not your fault, they will ask you to upload/dispatch updated admission offers. If you could do so and the institute does not have any objections, they will still consider you. The winning heart bit is about providing fresh and previously missed evidences in support of your application. Obviously you win VO's heart to be able to get your application approved, that is the down side of this business.

I am new to this forum,
The slow processing (or no processing at all, which ever is right) of study permit applications started from August or is this older than that ?

I thought due to this dharnas going on, they might have stopped the working temporarily but after reading some comments I got a sense that this problem of not issuing visas by canadian embassy is old. is that right ?
and if they dont plan to issue visa than why the hell are they accepting new applications, why dont they stop and just say that sorry we are not issuing study permits to pakistani students. why wasting time of all the students.

But the issue is my classes gonna start from 2nd Sept and on Medical request form IMM1017, they wrote OMAN as country of birth while I am from Pakistan and even never have been to Tongue

Now what should I do?
