Guys some news here at my end. I just got a message in myCiC account asking me to submit the IMM5257B. And the medical column's status changed to "Passed". Now fingers crossed, anybody knows what would that mean?

bro your and mine application date, biometric date was same, even we both submitted the application with upfront medical.
May be they'll attend to my application too now :-X (just a wish )

no not yet, did they send you email that your file status has changed ?
cz i've read that they send you an email whenever there is any update about your application....

No they didn't send about an update. Although they did send an email notifying the message in mycic account.

This seems they are working,,, we all must thankful that they doing their work but at speed of turtle,, coz its better then close of embassy and we can hope something better still,,,, my suggestion to all u guys is to wait and get defer letter ready and send them before they ask,,, its my suggestion

its all my thoughts,,, i know u all guys going through tuff time.. but We should be visionary and think ahead of VO... although my classes going to start by end of sept i will get my defer letter by mid of sept and send them so they get time to review my app and my chance to get visa become bright.... and i suggest all u guys this to this coz its better to keep sword in our hands not in VO hands... hope u guys get my point what i am saying

Preferably when you are asked, however if it has been more than 100 days since you applied, send it in a Case Specific Inquiry or Fax it.
