Sherish did you send them an email. Because I did last Monday and they sent me my visa on Friday, I had to pick it up on Saturday.

I hope you did follow-up by email.

Count me in! i'm also desperately waiting for my Visa... i got medical call on 6th august,i had my medical on the same day and then i returned my passport same day

i'm undergraduate student and going to carleton university,ottawa.

Inshallah all of us will get the VISA!

can any one confirm that fee for canada embassy is paid same in draft

with the amount of 125 CAD

or wot is the procedure in pakistan to pay the fee

Dear Abdul Manan bhai. my brother wants to apply for student visa for jan 2011 intake. kindly tell me abt the bank statement i readit on website that it should be maintained for 4 months, bank account in canadian bank, bank draft, etc in the financial proof section its mentioned kindly tell me can we have any one option from all these.?????????????/

mate, you need to show personal bank account over the last 4 months.

Bank statement must demonstrate 10 K as living Ex. + first year tuition fee.

For example , first year tuition fee is about 12 K and including Air Fare.

You must provide personal Account Bank Statement; it can be Rs Bank Account in National Bank.
So total about 24K over the last 4 months should be presented there.

yaar dont worry money is not the only thing which gets u visa..

i did only show 9 lac and got 2 year multiple entry visa..

prepare a nice SOP... convince to visa officer that u are geniune student,.

as far as i know

gOOD SOP will be the one

1.Written by urself not copied
2.be true with ur ideas and aims
3.Try to write according to the standard of ur education bcz if u'll use some very difficult vocabulary every one can think that u have copied or its not written by u
4.Be concise and focus on the main points
5.SOP must length just on 1 side of paper and must show that dream of ur passion relates to ur homeland
