Applied for visa on 28th september,
got medical call on 5th October.Medical done on 7th October.
Passport sent back on 7 October.
Current status:waiting.

Will apply for visa by oct 25,2010 CHC, Islamabad.
4 year degree program in comp sci at Simon Fraser University.

I am originally from Karachi,Pakistan.

Waiting for University of Alberta for their reply on my admission application
Probably in the last 10 days of October, I'll get the result of my admission
@ bleachedaxe, why do the CHC send the passport back to the applicant?

they send it back with the medical call.Anyways you have to submit back once the medical is done.

i have a question, did you guys attested your documents from HEC for students visa, my university didnt required one so i didnt bothered, but do the visa office require it?

I have applied at Memorial University of Newfoundland on 23 June, 2010 and still waiting admission decision. One month ago they sent me an email that ur application is considering for Winter-2011 intake. Although I applied for Fall-2010 but they considered as late applicant.

Q: Anyone have idea when they will tell me about the admission decision?

I think visa office also don't require this attestation from HEC.

As u know already I have applied at Memorial University for Winter-intake. I called them yesterday, they told me that we will send your admission letter after mid-November. And my classes will start in Jan-2011. Is this enough time for VISA process?
