I just called the IRCC Call center and according to them, Online applications submitted after September 4,2016 are not yet being processed and that means all the applications submitted before 4th September are currently under process.

No I wasn't asked to send any additional documents. However, there were some people on this forum who told me that sending the educational documents and IELTS scorecard is an essential part of the application even if they are not listed in the required checklist. So, I called the IRCC call center and talked to one of the agents and told him about the situation. After asking a few security questions, he told me that my file is currently at the Abu Dhabi visa office. He asked my email id and sent me an email with a letter and a reference number. He asked me to send my documents along with that letter and reference number to the Abu Dhabi embassy via post. So I sent my educational documents and IELTS scorecard via post on Sep 22nd.

Actually, I was a lil worried that I hadn't submitted my academic documents with my application and I didn't want my application to be refused on the grounds of academic documents because I have an excellent educational history so after talking to a few people, I decided to send the documents to the visa officer. Luckily, my Uncle is a Canadian citizen and he helped me in getting a Canadian number that can be used anywhere. So I used that number to call the IRCC Call center because you can't call them using the Pakistani number. And the agent sent me the email with the letter and asked me to send the documents via post to Abu Dhabi.

According to the checklist, this makgunner guy submitted online on 22nd sept and his application is processed.

I don't think that what the agent said is true.

No the agents don't tell you anything about this. When you call the ircc call center to check your application status, the computerized message tell you about the applications that are currently in process.

after checking your updates ,my ielts has been expired now ,but it was valid when i got the acceptance letter ,now i take another date in mid nov but i have to submit my application in 1st week of nov .now as you said its an essential part i am confuse ,how can i submit ielts now after mid nov it will take 15-20 days to get result too so it means it will; become dec and i cant wait for ielts to come and submit my application i have asked alot to ppl they said sowp and student visa they dont require ielts thats between me and my college the ielts thingy .any opinions ?

As I mentioned earlier, I didn't submit my academic documents and IELTS scorecard with my visa application because these documents were not listed in the required checklist but a lot of people told me that its always a good idea to send them with your application especially if you have a good academic record and IELTS score. I have a good academic history and a good IELTS score so I didn't want my application to get refused on the grounds of not submitting my academic documents and IELTS scorecard and that's why I decided to send them to the visa officer.
But in your case since your IELTS scorecard has expired, I think you should try to attach your old IELTS scorecard with a letter explaining to the visa officer that you are going to appear for the IELTS test next month and if required, I'm willing to send you the new IELTS scorecard as well once I get it.
