I passed through all formalities / procedures that every one has complied , any how my immigration took some time , as immigration staff was concerned / confused about Two Valid Canadian Visas on my passport.

At first they were not able to find / locate my Immigrant Visa , and after that have taken an hour and a half to figure out why my passport has two visas . Immigration officer asked me why Business visa is valid , I responded , I have no authority to cancel my self any visa issued on my passport its better if he could contact department and seek clarifications on this , any how , after this with a big smile he completed all formalities with in 15 minutes or so , and permitted me to leave with a smile and welcome to Canada note , never asked about any funds etc.

At Customs , Goods to Follow list along with currency declaration form was required to be submitted / filled , and this was completed in 15 minutes , I beleive.

I dropped my luggage at my rented apartment , and am staying with my sister , in Cosburn area. Suffering from Flue / Throat infection , and fatigue due to travelling and unrest back home.

In Sha Allah will get my SIN , Telephone Connection and Bank Account tomorrow.

yes u r right that officially its ONE bag that is allowed as Cabin Baggage or Carry On Baggage, which must not exceed 7kg.

in addition to that, I have spoken to emirates official in emirates office at Karachi, they have confirmed me that I can separately carry my laptop in another small or laptop bag, which can be a cross type or carry on or backpack, must not exceed 2.5kg (cos normally laptops weight are around under 2.5 to 3 kg including charger).

the point in saying this is.......u can easily carry 7kg of goods in ur hand trolley or hand carry.......and can carry ur laptop separately in another laptop bag. but make sure that in that laptop bag there should be only laptop and its accessories. its not like u stuff it with ur regular things and make it heavy beyond 3kg. in that way they can deny it. so by keeping ur laptop in separate bag u can save space and capacity of ur hand carry and can put some stuff in it instead of laptop.

I know its not a big deal......laptop is hardly 2.5 kg........by saving that space we cannot win any war......but yes when immigrating 1st time, under so much pressure and restricted and limited allowance of weight.......even 2 kg will matter. u can carry some of ur valuables in those 2 kgs.

now imagine if 6 people are travelling.......6*2 = 12kg!.......combines they saved 12 kg and they can put in goods of that weight into their hand carries.

if still in confusion, call emirates office and ask them if u can separately carry ur laptop or not.

the important thing is that u can only purchase 3 extra bags online at discount rates..........rest of the bags u have to purchase at airport on standard rates.

It mean, if you are honest and you know your work well, you will treat as an educated and qualified person. At the time of introduction of the boy he was not muslim but Aap (PBUH) called him educated boy. Honesty is the best policy. It can prove that you are a highly educated person.

2:00am night from karachi to dubai, flight time is 2:10 hours and there I have 5:10 hours stay on airport

then 9:55am in morning from dubai to Toronto, flight time is 13:50 hours.

total flight time it will take from Karachi to Toronto with stopover at Dubai 21:10 hrs.
