Pakistan VFS Stamping time

Has anyone recently submitted their passport at Canada visa office Lahore or Islamabad for stamping after approval of Permanent Residence application? How long does the stamping take these days? I have a flight after 7 working days and would need passport, should I wait til I come back or submit it?

Can I go directly to the High Commission of Canada? Is there any way to expedite the process??

I very much doubt you would get it back in 7 working days anywhere in the world. If you'll be back from your trip within 30 days then go ahead and take the trip first. If not you probably can still take the trip then inform CIC of the situation and request to submit it at the local VFS of the country you are in.

Hi, just wanted to share as this may help someone.
I received my passport request on 10th August dated 9th August. I had a pre booked confirmed flight on 22nd August.
Visited the local VFS and they assured I would get it back in time for the flight.
So i submitted my passport on Wednesday 14th and got an email on 19th to collect the passport next day. Pakistan Zindabad! =D
I now have the stamped passport in my hand on 20th August. Alhumdulilah

Passport stamping is quite fast since all approval is done already beforehand and they literally just have to stamp the passport. Immitracker has more detailed data but with vfs it usually is delivered back within 2-3 working days
