Pakistan - Police Clearance - for how many years?

Hi All,

I can't seem to find this exact answer online - I need to know --> How many years does the Police Clearance Certificate need to cover?

My husband is 31 and has lived in Lahore for the last 6 years - does the certificate need to cover those 6 years or even further back? The one he was issued only covers the period from Jan 2012 up to date.

Police certificate will be valid only for six months so your husband just have to submit police report and if the Cic want latest one after sending documents then arrange another one.

I think this is as far back as they go. Don't worry about it. I got that for my wife, she were born and raised there. No issues what so ever. Just provide what you get from the authorities.

Amjad1002 I was more worried that the certificate only starts from 2012 - I thought the CIC might want a certificate that states my husband's record for the last 6 years - many thanks to you both for clarifying!!
