Dear Canada struck students,

Wait for a few more days. They may be short of staff or on holidays. They will process your applications to the fullest extent and even if you were found eligible after the deadline has passed, they will still ask you for an extension letter to see if the admission offer is still valid. So be patient and prepare your institute for deferring your admission. This is unfortunate but nothing can be done about it. The process simply sucks

yes we have to wait for one week more after we decide to defer the admission ..so pray and humble...for indian they get daily visas but for pakistanis we are not grting even medical call yet...god knows what better

last visas came on july 26,,, those who got the medical call or have done upfront medical can expect visa until third week of august,,, others have to defer for jan,,,

A guy was applied on 23rd June and received medical on 5th August..so there is hope at least this week.

Secondly, can we do upfront medical now?? What are your expériences??

Do not lose your hope. Insha Allah, our best is coming soon. May Allah Almighty give success to all my brothers and sisters. Ameen.
Do not make your mind that only we are waiting students, Not at all. I knew many student who don't know this page. 2 guys got medical in the end of July and they didn't know this page. Thus, please demonstrate patience. they are processing our file at the fullest pace and they can't hire VOs from the streets. ;D

how can we get an extension letter?

Hi,

You need to make your college/university/supervisor aware of the situation and win their confidence, request them to either deffer your admission for the next session or at least allow you to join after a few weeks delay. This will let the embassy to get the extra time that they may be asking you for. In some cases the embassy does not ask you and if you were lucky, they will still issue you visa.
