Really disappointing for us

Continuing of 29 NOC occupation list for further one year starting from 1st July 2011. This time the total number of applications would be 10,000 with 500 cap on each NOC. I think it's a good sign, cic is really looking serious to reduce the backlog. We as a pre june 26, 2010 applicants may expect Medical requests by early next year.

700 is for investor class

I think this is a good sign, cic is looking serious to reduce the backlog. We as pre june 26, 2010 applicants can expect Medical requests by early next year.

As per above quotes ,pre june 2010 applicants ,(between Feb 2008 and june 2010) would not be processed till end of this year(2011).It will increase processing time and further delay in finalizing our batch .It's a frustating situation ,what's your opinion !

Wait for few weeks & the situation would be much clear. In my opinion it's a good sign for pre-June 2010 applicants. The purpose to welcome only 10,000 applications is to reduce the backlog of pre-june 2010 & pre feb 2008. CIC has already finished 50% of the backlog since feb. 2008 & the remaining 50% might be finished in the coming 1-2 years. We may expect medical request by the end of this year or early next year. Keep your fingers crossed.

According to the current trend, it can take 6 weeks to 6 months! give it some time and drop a query again if you don't hear from them in 6 weeks.
