I got the status changed to "In Process" and now the details have also been changed, I have an addition of new member in my family but has not submitted his doc yet. What documents are supposed to be prepared and how can I include him in my immigration process?

Below is the detail of documents or actions that you need to take in order to comply fully with CHC requirements for new born;

1. NEW BORN Birth certificates (hospital and ministry of health). No need of notarization. Only copies can serve the purpose.
2. Passport of new born (and visa page if residing outside homeland)
3. Five photographs as per specification,
4. Additional family information forms (update) and signed in original
5. Demand draft of CAD 150/- (in the name of RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA)
6. Information on height of new born at the time of sending forms

As we can see the trend, your meds should be on its way. And you can have your meds done by any CIC approved DMP around the globe.
Can you pls share ur complete timelines

there is no extact time frame for background checks, normally it takes 3 to 6 months but for some it has taken even more than an year. The only possible way to see a potential date of medicals is your BFD date in caips at your stage. I would obliged if you share the BF'd date mentioned in your caips. It would atleast give us an idea, how long the IO officer is expecting your background checks, as per his understanding. Kind regards
