Dear Canada1234 & other friends!

My e-cas status shows in process with an inside processing date of 22nd August 2011. I submitted an email inquiruty to CHC London few days back and recieved the following response yesterday.

"In response to your recent correspondence, please be advised that your application has now been reviewed by an immigration officer and is awaiting the next actions.

Please note that we will be in contact with further information shortly."

How would you comment on the above mentioned response from CHC?

The background checks are still going on. Have you received the request of additional docs or not yet?

Have you received your MR yet ?. Let me conclude it for you, Till VISA STAMPING, it will take atleast 8 to 12 months after Ecas shows your processing date.

Mine processing started in April and i received Additional Docs request in July and MR in September..... Now waiting for PPR....

For long awaited cases VO normally demand for PCC, POF, employer ref. letter etc to re-confirm. I think you'll get request of add. docs anytime.

I suggest you to stop sending further query to the visa office as it may be counted as a negative impression....be patient

Hi all friends !
Kindly include my data in list,
My timelines are the following:

Application received by CIC on April 16, 2009.
Application reviewed & R.letter sent on May 6, 2009.
Application reviewed and started processing on October 8, 2009.
Application transferred form Islamabad to the London England office on June 30, 2010.
Application form were resubmited on july 2011, along with police cleanence, me and my spouse as asked by VO.
NOC : 4131

I emailed the CIC three month ago in August 2011 to ask about the current status of my application, my VO replied as,

Thankyou for your recent enquiry.
Please note that your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We are unable to advise when these checks will be completed, however we will contact you as soon as the results for background checks are received.
Now my question is how long roughly this process needs? As i and my spous have submited police certificate in july 2011 and at the moment my application is in process but my mailing address were disappeared form since first November,2011 could i assume that the VO will ask me MR in the coming couples of weeks or some thing else.
