hi i applied in march 2004 filed my application in chc islamabad got provisional acceptance my case was transefered to london office in april2011 than they asked for updates n still to date we r waiting for medicals . after inquiring they told us they r undergoing background checks . is their any one in this situation .

I am an applicant of April 2004 and did my medicals in October 2011. Yesterday I received following reply from London office.
Dear Applicant,

In response to your email, please note that the background checks are still ongoing. We are unable to advise when these checks will complete, however we will contact you with further instructions as soon as the results have been received.

i ve nt got my medicals yet i ve also recived similar mail of background/security cheque n it can take several months . although several months ve passed . n i dnt know why they vent send us medicals ?do they pick files randomly .one more thing i m dr by profession still no medicals so its only luck ..... as the new statment t finish backlog by throwing pre 2008 applicants file i m worried wht will happen God knows .
