OWP with PR app-linking online question

Hello.

I am a US citizen and a common-law partner of a Canadian citizen.

I sent in my OWP with my PR application. Next Thursday will be 3 months. I understand it can take between 3 and 4 months to hear a response to the OWP request.

He (my sponsor) received an email 28 days after we mailed it in which I think is call the AOR. We havent' heard anything since. My question is:

Will I also receive an email since I"m the one that has requested an OWP?
When linking the app, do I use my sponsor's last name as the family name? or my last name (US Citizen)?
I can't figure out why it won't link anything..and it always tells me they can't find anything.

if you have received AOR.....the PA may link the application with the PA UCI# or Application Number and the PA surname in the application forms.

When trying to link my application to my online account, it says there are no matches. What’s going on?

I am locked out now until tomorrow after 5 failed attempts. Will try again. Question: When it asks for the number of applicants on the application? I put 2 right? That includes my sponsor and me. I have "dependent" children in the USA and I included them as dependents but they are unaccompanying and do not plan to come to Canada.

the sponsor and any Canadian citizen dependent children is not counted and should not be included in the count.....number of applicants on the application = PA + Accompanying Dependents + Non-accompanying Dependents

Indicate the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not
