Hello, all.

I have been going through various websites including CIC regarding my situation and I think I am more confused than I was when I started.

I will be applying for my PGWP after my medical tomorrow as I have finished my Personal support Worker diploma. My husband carries an OWP and has been working full time since October 2021.

I have been working since May 04, 2022. I have read that I cannot extend my husband's OWP unless I am under a NOC 0, A or B job though my fellow classmates (who also have their spouses here) applied regardless of this fact. Therefore he can only apply for a Temporary Resident Visa to hold a status in the country.

My questions are:

- can he apply for an open work permit with a TRV? or can his work do anything to sponsor him while he is here? His company is quite big and I'm pretty sure they have a positive LMIA as they are even currently hiring international workers in their other location (in another city).

- Can I apply his extension separately or will I need to include his extension in my application?

- I am working as a PSW in a nursing home, with the new TEER, apparently we are considered NOC B instead of C? I've been reading the website but the words are too 'intense' for me to translate in basic English, lol.
