Dear all,

Does anyone know how an owner manager can apply for work permit in Canada? If so what are the steps and how can one be qualified? Plan is to buy a business and manage it with over 51% ownership.

I would recommend you hire a good immigration lawyer to assist you. We don't see a lot of these here and it seems like it's quite difficult to get approval. Buying a business won't guarantee approval unfortunately.

Noted, but have you done any and is this why you think it may be difficult to get an approval?

I see, is there a place i can get the information on the type of business, maybe the business networth, etc? If there is any?
