Overtime and IELTS questions thx for help!

1.Since Jan.2013 policy changed,full time now means 30 hours(paid) per week,so,is the overtime hours accouts to the working hours?I saw the above people's posts got rejected due the overtime hours not accounts to working hours. thx!
2.I am applying cec under NOC.6242,which is cook,type B I think. And I recently got my IELTS，which is R.5 W.5.5 L.5 S.5
Is that ok for cec lauguage requirements?

Noc code for cook is 6322 not 6242 it has been change I dont know when though.

Ur ilets score looks good , but remember you have to do 12 month's of full time

CIC has clearly said that they need 1 year of full time (atleast 30 hrs per week)

Now for example if you work 40 hrs per week and think that you are eligible in 9 months because you worked more hours, than you are wrong!
They don't consider extra hours worked in order to shorten the time to less than 1 year. Meaning, you still have to work for 1 year no matter how many hours you work every week; it doesn't matter!

CIC clearly mentions its eligibility criteria and many people misinterpret by counting the total number of minimum hours needed to work. No, it doesn't work that way.

Furthermore, if you work less than 30 hours in a week, it will not be considered as full time and you will have to work more in order to compensate for the hours in that week.

Your IELTS score is good for Skilled B

but the other applicant who were rejected recentyl has worked since april 2010 to june 2012, so the period of
empolyed is more than 2 year and working hour is 4400 hour in total.

Yes, of course they had to reject! he had to work 24 months which he didn't. If you read all his posts in that thread, he mentioned that he had a 5 month gap in between!

I didn't see that there is a 5 month gap. so that applicant did not met "at least 24 month" criteria, wright?

yupp.. he was not eligible according to the rules at that time..
