I´ve been calling weekly since Oct 2025, same response need to wait
short timeline: me principal app applied on Jan 2022, PR July 2025, my partner received passport request on Oct 2025
This is very normal. Processing only starts when primary applicant gets approves except as part of the pilot program and there is a large backlog.
Hi. Please just wondering how your spouse was in Canada and both of you did not get landing inside Canada. Is it thst when you applied for PR, he was outland?. If so did you apply for visitor's visa and was successful?
She submitted her passport on 6 feb 2026 and it was returned by courier on 8th march 2026 with pr/visa/stamp valid from 23-02-2026 until 16-01-2027.

my and my wife,s Permanent Residence (PR) application, which was submitted in February 2023
My spouse has already received her PR approval in August 2025. I am currently outside Canada as a dependent applicant.
In August 2025, I was requested to provide my birth certificate and marriage certificate, which were duly submitted.
In November 2025, I received a request for a police clearance certificate, which I also provided.
In January 2026, I was asked to submit my complete travel history along with copies of all passport pages. These documents were submitted in January 2026.
Since then, I have not received any further updates on my application.
I don't understand why they are asking me for everything separately. Why don't they ask me for everything at once?
and I don't understand how much longer this will take.
