Really? I do not see it included in the eligible regions.

The pilot project includes 9 regions served by Canadian missions in the following cities:

i am from Pakistan it got a letter that you belong to region that is part of pilot its not just me a lot of people who are from Pakistan got that same pilot letter

My brother is facing same process as yours He is October 2020 Applicant. He passed eligibilty, medicals in January 2022. Until now he did not get final portal invitation. His spouse received her medical recently to be completed. So I guess it is kind of connected for some applicants. It is random and IRCC are the ones to choose which is which when processing.

Other Principle in Canada applicant are becoming PR way earlier in the process.

Maybe yours has different situation. But it is a good sign anyway.

Does it say “Pilot” in the letter itself ? Well, this should be promising.

At least they are expanding this process. In this case it should both be completed at the same time. Delays could happen but at the end both will be done

I am June 2019 applicant my family got pre arrival last month after 2 weak they ask for additional documents I send last week now w8ting for medical

Maybe you mean June 2020? because if all applications were submitted the same time since June 2019 this means it is one year delayed since supposed completion date

My family finger prints is done in April 2021 and only thing medical left might be this month or next month they ask medical and then they approve my family

Keep following up with them by sending them email to the embassy email itself and the webform specified to London VO.
They should not take this long if all your documents were present at the time they review the file. Please note if your family members had lived in different countries more than 6 months the Visa Office will need to complete the background, security, and criminality checks. As well as they will need police certificates from all countries.
