hey guys,
My spouse is in India and we are planning to go the OPW(Open Work Permit) and PR route.

The idea is

• OPW will take 7 weeks + time for Biometrics (total 10ish weeks?)
• then when we're here PR will take 12ish months

we have just started collating all the documents required for each step, but wanted to ask if folks who are in a similar position are planning along the same line and have a similar time-frame in their minds?

OWP will take around 4 months (not seven weeks). OWP application must be submitted together with the inland PR application. Your spouse must be physically in Canada in order for you to submit the inland PR application + OWP application.

There is no OWP with outland. Inland only.
