Hi,

I have been working as a Freelance Web Developer for more than 10 years.
I have done some remote jobs in companies from different countries as well.

I'm mostly looking forward to your ideas and possible routes for me to migrate with my wife.
We both have Masters Degree from renowned university in my country of origin.
I'm on my 32 now.
I hope we both can achieve a decent score in IELTS.

However, one of the most challenging things for me is that my Post Graduation was on a non IT discipline.
It's "Social Science" which is not a Science even though it has science in it. :)
And certainly not related to Programming, Software or anything related to Web Development.

As it seems the easier gateway SINP requires the profession and education to match.

So, what are our options, is there's any?

Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Thank You :)

Do you have ECAs for your degrees? For SINP, your education must match your NOC…that is mandatory. Why do people think that SINP is the easiest…your NOC needs to be selected plus SINP score. Plus 2175 is a licensed NOC so you need a CIPS license based on education, work experience etc.

Options are other PNP programs. Again depends on your CRS score and whether you NOC is selected.

Nope, I haven't done ECA yet.
I just want to get an idea before I dive for it.

Do I have a chance in other PNPs considering we achieve CLB9 and our ECA turns out to be as expected (Masters equivalency)?
And it's quite obvious that doing another bachelor or masters in any IT related discipline is not an option for me.
I know about CIPS and I can try for that too.

You don't have to answer my last question directly as I understand it's not an easy thing to do.
It depends on a lot of factors I understand.

Do you have any suggestion for me?
What'd you do? :)

What is your CRS score based on what you think your IELTS and ECAs will be? PNP depends on whether you have high enough NOC, PNP score, job offer, family in province etc. Without a job offer there are only a few provinces where you are eligible.

It's not high as it seems.
I'm assuming it'll be around 480 if things goes on my way.
470 if not :)

Unfortunately, I do not have a job offer(yet) and no relatives in any provinces with a PR.
Although I have some good friends having a PR, but I'm quite sure that won't work :)

What are the provinces that do not require Job Offer other than SINP?
I looked at AAIP(Alberta) who don't seem to require one.

Anything else I should look at?
I understand my chances are quite slim.

Thank You for your time.

Alberta and Ontario (not sure your NOC is eligible) but will depend on if selecting your NOC and CRS score. AINP has not been drawing lately either or selecting from those working and studying in the province.

Thank You so much.

As I have asked you before.
Do you have any advice for me?
What'd you do?

I'm not in a life or death situation.
I'm just trying to decide what's best for me, based on some information I can gather.

Feel free to share if it's entirely negative.
And it's absolutely alright if you don't want to answer too.

Take Care :)

As long as you completed the post graduate studies, even if it’s a different field from your primary NOC, you can earn the points if the ECA deems it equivalent to Canadian standards.

That's amazing.
Thank You for sharing that.

I believe 2174, 2175 both applies for me.
