OVER TIME PROCESSING

Hi I didn't see any thread or topic in this forum of pplz who's processing time is taking longer then usual so I want you to share your experience and ideas here!
Well my story is
I filed my application last June 2014 it took 2 months for approval and on 13th of August 2014 file transferred to Paris visa office after few months I was requested my residential documents of Portugal as I was temporarily reside there and it was expiring soon they again requested and I sent my renewal one. After that 3 months in February 2015 they ask me to proof my relationship so I sent records and proofs of cohabitation and all that since then I haven't heard anything and my usual processing time of 8 months as per cic states is also over and nothing.
So we decided to go through our MP so we contacted they inquire on our behalf and told us that our file is all ok relationship security checks backgrounds medical every thing is ok and now our file is in que and we have to wait for senior visa officer to review and finalize it until then we have to wait !!!!!

So please share if any one of you has exceeded the time then shown on cic

Sounds like every thing is in order and you are just waiting, like the rest of us...

Hang in there, at least you got positive information and everything is on track. These processes are super slow at times, and the times they give are just an approximation from the previous year(s).

Thank you there at least some one reply to my post feeling like not in space anymore lol
Anyway Yh I have good news atleast no problem with my file and just one final step to go but for that I have to wait wait and wait !! Hope to hear something good soon!

Call CIC call center and ask them or send them a inquiring letter putting your information like UCI number.

We are not over our time which is anywhere between 16 months/Ottawa, 29 months/LA and 35 months/New York..but our file, according to the case notes, has not been touched since AUG2014 but for the case note request I have made....Application was rec'd 09APR2014, Sponsorship Approval 05JUN2014...fees paid up front...FBI and Meds done up front and nothing since the letter of approval...NO requests for anything no nothing...unable to call the call centre because we live in USA and it does work outside of Canada...Contacted MP and was advised case was in LA and everything was fine..Immigration Officer in March in Montreal advised case was back in Ottawa but according to Case notes its still sitting in LA..Completely and totally dishearten...I am the Canadian and mother is in Vancouver with Alzheimer's and can only listen to her lose her mind but for when I visit...I do understand I can go live there without my husband of ten years but he is my biggest support system besides my daughter that lives there as well...So crazy that we have done everything to the book and watch as people that cant even afford to pay off the American cars loans get approved and landed in the time that out file has been sitting...I have no answers and I am so dishearten...

Anyone can tell me what is the best way to contact with cic for case inquiry
My application processing time is exceeded about one and half month now so I want to contact Paris visa office cic.
1- should I go with online inquiry system and fill up all that and submit it or
2- should I directly send an email to Paris visa office?

What is better or any other better option!

Contact them already, if you have direct email, ok, but case specific form I say it's fine.

You are in the position to contact them as they keep your file over the normal timeline.
