Hi i just have question

I have a ticket from police

i have two option : 1. to pay $175
2. work free

Question will it effect my citizenship application

have i did any crime

sorry i forgot add one more point: i went to court and i told judge i am guilty so please forgive me
he give me two option : 1. to pay $175
2. work free as volunteer two days around $175 value.

Correct, it does not show up in the criminal record. People get tickets for traffic violations day in and day out. Don't worry.

Hi quick question please , i had a ticket for 48 KM over speed and then i challenged in court , however i got convicted with speeding offence , and had to pay the ticket. will that affect my citizenship as i just replied no to no criminal offence apply to me ? please let me know.

As long as it is a simple speeding ticket, no it won’t. If you have been charged with dangerous driving (usually involves speeding at twice the posted speed or excessive speed), you can be charged under federal law and the penalty is up to 5 years. That could affect your citizenship.

Then you’re fine.

Take it to the track next time. Far fewer buses to dodge and costs about the same as your speeding ticket. :cool:
